My 10-Year Trading Strategy, Now Fully Automated
Trader · APT Creator
This isn't another "AI trading bot" built by developers who have never placed a trade. AutoPilot Trader runs the Two Hour Trader framework, which is the strategy I have traded full time for over a decade and still trade every single day.
I built it because I was tired of being chained to screens, and because I knew the framework could run hands-free without me sitting on top of it. This is my actual edge, automated.
- Full-time trader for 10+ years, still trading daily
- Mentored 100+ traders since 2017
- Featured on TopstepTV
- Built and traded funded prop accounts through multiple firms
- Developed proprietary trading systems used by working traders
I created AutoPilot Trader for the struggling trader who can't control emotions, the new trader who doesn't have years to master a strategy, and the profitable trader ready to stop trading time for money.
One Engine. Two Ways to Run It.
The framework ships in two builds off the same codebase. You pick one at setup, and the choice comes from how your account is structured rather than from how bold you feel. A toggle switches between them, and we set it with you on the call.
The standard build
Takes every qualifying setup the framework identifies, with the full exit structure: a first target, a second target, and a runner that carries the extended moves. This is the build I run on my own account.
Regime insurance
Core plus two additional filters. It passes on setups Core takes, so it earns less in a healthy market and gives back much less when conditions turn. In the stress test against a decade of hostile conditions, almost all of the bleed disappears.
Shield is not smoother month to month. Its armor shows up at the depth of a drought rather than in the shape of an average week.
Pick once and review quarterly. The failure mode we design against is switching builds in reaction to a drawdown, which reliably means selling the bottom of one and buying the top of the other. Both records are published side by side so you can see what each one did through the same months.
- Now live
- THT V4, in both the Core and Shield builds, released to every active license on September 1, 2026. The rules were frozen on data ending July 31, so everything since is out of sample and published as it happens.
- Releasing this month
- Spring, a second strategy that trades a different pattern on a faster chart and has run close to uncorrelated with the main framework. It goes out to existing licenses at no additional cost once deployment finishes. Its record is already published on the performance page.
- Instruments
- NQ and its micro contract, MNQ. Additional instruments are added as they clear their own validation run, and we would rather ship fewer than carry ones the record does not support.
The Whole Record, Including the Drawdowns
We don't publish a headline number and ask you to take it on faith. The full record lives on its own page with every month laid out, the drawdowns printed next to the returns, and the raw daily files free to download. Red months stay on the board.
Check it yourself
Every figure we publish comes from files you can download. Daily results and trade logs for each strategy, exported from the same run that produces the charts, so you can rebuild the analysis rather than take ours.
Losses shown too
The month-by-month table prints the red months at the same size as the green ones, and the monthly reviews cover them on video. A track record that only ever shows gains is telling you about the reporting.
Sized to your account
Results scale with contract count. The tool on the performance page starts from the drawdown your account can survive and tells you what a configuration would have done to it, rather than what you might make.
Read the Record First
Position size drives everything. An account trading micros and a six-figure account trading full-size contracts run the same strategy and produce very different dollar outcomes. The performance page lets you set your own account and see what the system would have done to it, month by month, drawdown included.
Every strategy, stated separately
Each one carries its own window and its own caveats. Where a record does not reach as far back as the others, the card says so instead of implying a uniform history.
Month by month, losses included
A full grid for every year in the window, with the losing months printed at the same size as the winning ones and totalled honestly.
What your account can carry
Set your balance and your drawdown limit, pick a configuration, and it tells you whether that configuration would have survived the worst stretch in the record.
The raw files
Daily results and trade logs as CSVs, published so you can run the analysis yourself. Nothing on the page is a figure you have to trust.
Published results are simulated. Simulated performance carries the benefit of hindsight that live trading does not, and your own results will differ with account size, sizing, execution and the conditions during the period you trade. Full disclosure sits on that page.
Four Traders Who Get the Most From It
The Struggling Trader
You can read a chart, but emotion wrecks the execution. You exit winners early, hold losers too long, and you're tired of being your own worst enemy.
APT removes you from the execution entirely, so the trade that scared you out last Tuesday gets taken the same way as every other one. The system has no memory of the last loss and no opinion about the next trade.
The New Trader
You don't have five years to master a strategy, and you'd rather not lose tuition money learning one the hard way.
You start with a battle-tested framework instead of building one. We handle the entire setup; you fund your account and let it run.
The Time-Strapped Trader
You have a career, a family, other priorities. You want exposure to the market without being pinned to a screen through the session.
APT runs completely hands-free. No chart watching, no entry decisions, no exit management while you're in a meeting.
The Drawdown-Capped Trader
Your account has a hard floor. A prop evaluation, a funded account with a trailing limit, or a balance small enough that one bad stretch ends the run.
Shield exists for exactly this. It gives up profit in good conditions to shrink the depth of the bad ones, and the sizing tool on the performance page will tell you whether a configuration fits inside your limit before you commit to it.

Before You Buy
Do I need to give you access to my trading account?
No. Your funds stay in your brokerage account under your control. AutoPilot Trader sends trade signals through a secure third-party execution provider to your connected broker. You can disconnect at any time and you always retain full access to your account.
How much money do I need to start?
Micro contracts put the system within reach of a modest account. The honest answer to what you specifically need is on the performance page, where you enter your balance and your drawdown limit and it tells you what a configuration would have done to that account.
This matters more than most people expect. Dollar results scale directly with contract count, so a smaller account produces proportionally smaller results than a larger one running the identical system. That's arithmetic rather than a difference in the strategy.
What results should I expect?
That depends on your account size, your contract count, and the conditions during the period you trade. Rather than quote a headline figure that ages, we publish the entire record on its own page: every month, the drawdowns beside the returns, and the raw daily files free to download.
Read it before you buy. If the reporting doesn't satisfy you, don't purchase. That is exactly what it is there for.
What's the difference between Core and Shield?
They run off one engine. Core takes every qualifying setup the framework finds. Shield adds two filters that pass on some of those setups, which costs it profit when conditions are good and protects it when they aren't.
Choose from how your account is structured. A cash account with room to sit through a normal drawdown runs Core. An account with a hard floor, whether that's a prop evaluation, a trailing limit or a small balance, runs Shield. We set the choice with you on the call, and both records are published side by side.
Pick one and review it quarterly. Switching builds because the one you're running just had a bad month is the most reliable way to capture the worst of both.
How does the trade management work?
Position size determines the exit structure, because the system splits its exits across the contracts you run. At three contracts it takes a first target, a second target, and holds a runner for the extended part of a move. At two there is no runner. At one there is no first target either, so the position runs to the second target or stops out.
This is why three contracts is the recommended size and why every figure we publish is quoted at the size the strategy is designed around. A "one contract" number derived by dividing a three-contract result would describe a trade with a runner the holder never carries. The performance page runs each size as its own record rather than dividing.
What brokers does it work with?
Tradovate, TradeStation, NinjaTrader, TopstepX, and TastyTrade. If you don't have an account yet, we'll help you open one during setup.
Can I use this with a prop firm account?
Yes, with caveats worth understanding before you commit. Prop firms enforce hard drawdown limits, usually intraday and on a trailing basis, so an open position can breach a limit that end-of-day figures never show. A normal red day can close an account that would have recovered within a week.
If you go that route: run Shield, use micro contracts, take a Straight2Funded or instant-funded account to skip the eval churn, and size below what the tool allows rather than at it. Check your firm's rules on automated strategies first. We recommend funded cash accounts where you have the choice.
What if I already have a trading strategy?
Most of our users did. Running an automated strategy doesn't mean abandoning your manual trading. Many members run APT alongside their own discretionary trading, on separate accounts or the same one.
What if the strategy stops working?
Your annual license includes every future update, and the system is under continuous research rather than sitting frozen. When testing shows a rule has stopped earning its place, it gets replaced and the new build ships to existing licenses at no additional cost. That has already happened more than once, and the current generation replaced a mechanic that had survived years of audits before the evidence turned against it.
That said, no strategy works in every market condition and we won't claim otherwise. Some months are red. We publish those too.
Why limit to 250 users?
Market capacity. Beyond roughly 250 simultaneous users, order flow impact begins to degrade fill quality for everyone running the system. Limiting total licenses protects the results, which is why pricing rises as we approach capacity.
Is there a refund or trial?
All sales are final. This is an annual license for a professional trading system, not a consumer product.
What we give you instead is a genuine way to evaluate it first. The full performance record, the raw data files, the sizing tool and the monthly reviews are all public before you spend anything.
If you want to go further than reading, trade the framework yourself. The Trader's Thinktank includes THT Signals, the same entry logic APT executes, plotted live on your charts as a TradingView indicator. You see the entries fire in real market conditions, take the trades manually, and judge the framework on your own screen before automating it. Most of our APT members came through exactly that path.
What happens after my first year?
You renew at the rate you joined at. We don't raise pricing on existing members, so increases apply to new licenses only as we approach the 250 cap.
Can I run more than one strategy at once?
Yes, and running strategies that don't lose money on the same days is how you lower the drawdown your account carries without giving up the same share of return. There are two things to get right.
Each strategy needs its own book at the broker, because two running on the same contract in one account net against each other and both then believe they still hold a position. And on a funded account, two strategies that can hold opposite positions at the same time counts as hedging, which most firms treat as terminable. Multi-strategy setups belong on a personal account. The sizing tool on the performance page works all of this out for whatever combination you pick, and we configure it with you on the call.
Trade the Framework Yourself First
The Trader's Thinktank includes THT Signals, the same entry logic that powers AutoPilot Trader, delivered as a real-time TradingView indicator. Entries, profit targets and stops plotted on your charts.
You take the trades yourself. You learn the framework from the inside, watching it fire in live conditions. When you're ready to hand execution over, you already know exactly what the system is doing and why.
Why I Built This
I built AutoPilot Trader because I kept watching capable traders fail, not because their read was wrong but because emotion wrecked the execution. They found the setup and then talked themselves out of it, or sized up after a loss trying to make it back in one trade.
This system removes the hands. No FOMO, no revenge trading, no second-guessing. Just the same framework executed the same way every session, whether the last trade won or lost.
It isn't magic and it isn't guaranteed. Some months are red, and I publish those too. But if you've been losing to your own execution rather than your own analysis, this is the fix I built for myself, and I still run it every day.

Important Risk Disclosure. Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance, whether simulated or actual, does not indicate future results.
The performance figures published by Power Trading Group are simulated. Simulated results have certain inherent limitations: because the trades were not executed, they may under or over compensate for market factors such as lack of liquidity, and simulated programs are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. The complete hypothetical performance disclosure accompanies those figures on the performance page.
Monthly review videos are recaps of an account as it was traded at a specific size and contract count. They are not a projection of what any other account will produce, and they are not the source of any published performance figure.
AutoPilot Trader is a trading system, not a guaranteed profit system. Your results will vary based on market conditions, account size, position sizing and execution timing.
