I have been trading profitably for ~10 years and am primarily self-taught, however I have studied a variety of trading techniques and strategies. I combine an array of trading philosophies using technical analysis - My specialty is in intraday trades, particularly in the index (via futures) and Stocks In Play that are exhibiting momentum. I focus specifically on high probability setups that limit risk and provide optimal upside reward. One of the ways I achieve this is through aligning myself with the big-picture context and placing trades in what I consider to be great locations.

As for technical analysis, I use a variety of techniques - However, I favor trading spring setups and pullback patterns that align with multiple-timeframe levels via basic support and resistance, with a focus on volume profile, as well as price-action responses to news. Through and through, I am a disciple of price action and volume.

My trading style emphasizes simplicity and discipline. I specialize in reading market structure to identify high-probability entry points, keeping my approach straightforward and repeatable. My edge comes from staying consistent, scaling methodically through prop firms, and maintaining sharp risk management on every trade.

I've been mentored by Kyle since 2018, which helped shape my systematic approach to the markets. However, I remain a perpetual student of the game - always learning, adapting my strategies, and pushing to level up. I focus on what works: clean execution, patience for the right setups, and letting the process compound over time.

Mario “Mo” Orozco

I am one of the lead traders in the PTG Trader’s Thintank®. I have 10+ years of trading experience, including former Prop trading firm head trader and main analyst. Formally educated as an engineer with an Ms. in Finance and an MBA in International Business.

My trading approach is very systematic, based on concepts of accumulation and distribution and market cycles. Most of my current system has been geared to my risk profile and my current market theories; but a lot of it is based on simple and recognizable strategies gathered while I was full trained at some of the most recognized prop trading firms in the industry.

My money management approach is heavily biased towards finding asymmetrical trade opportunities where leverage can be managed but also exploited using low risk but high reward trades.

My options game is still in constant development. I consider myself to be a lifelong student of the markets, its behavior and the mass psychology of those who trade in it. I’m also a student of the Wyckoff method and a trend follower at heart.
